If you see the error “Email/name already exists” when registering or creating a storefront, it may be caused by an invalid username or an email address or business name already associated with an existing account.
Follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
1. Check your username
If the error appears during registration, make sure your username meets these requirements:
- It must be a single word, without spaces.
- It must contain at least 5 characters.
- It must use lowercase letters.
Correct your username and try again.
2. Recover your existing account
Search How do I log in or reset my password?
3. Add another business or storefront
If you want to manage another business or storefront using the same email address, you may need a Multilogin configuration instead of creating a separate account.
To request this setup, contact Vendor Support using the email address linked to your account.
The businesses must belong to the same legal entity, and at least one storefront must have a paid or Premium account.
4. Check whether your email address is already registered
If you have never created an account with this email address but receive the error, contact Vendor Support using the email address you want to register.
Our team can review the existing account information and help you resolve the issue.
Still seeing the error?
If your username meets the requirements and none of the situations above applies to you, contact Vendor Support using the email address linked to your account. Explain when the error appears so the team can investigate the issue.
